The sun warmed the peaceful continent of Arboros with its friendly rays. The wind, like a small kitten, playfully drove the leaves along the ground and sang songs affectionately to the weary travelers. The trees were covered with green leaves of such a rich color that they resembled emeralds. The plants were studded with flowers as if they were jewels. Most of the flying islands resembled flying gardens. Each was full of life.
Somewhere the animals went about their usual business. While the parents were looking for delicious food, the kids played with each other. In some places, smoke rose from the forge, where the blacksmith forged weapons and armor for the adventurers. In other places, the doors of taverns were hospitably thrown open so that tired travelers could rest and replenish their supplies.
The ancient guardians jealously guarded their secrets, bypassing their domains, and were ready to fight those who would encroach on them. Life was in full swing and flowed in the usual way.
However, almost no one knew that among these flying islands there are several that are not marked on any map and the way to which is not so easy to find.
Far from the usual beaten paths, in the Storm's End, among storm clouds and sparkling lightning, one of these islands floated. The Timeless often spent time here. Here and now, five figures are located on its edge.
Natural comfortably settled down on the chair she immediately created. It seemed that the very air next to her was filled with life and freshness. The Hatred sat on the ruins of an old, moss-covered column. He threw and caught his favorite knife in the air, which changed its shape and color with each throw. At the same time, his multi-colored eyes constantly moved from one kindred to another. Bred leaned against a tree and it seemed that the tree was not particularly happy with such a neighborhood. The wounds on his face looked terrifying, but he himself did not pay any attention to them. The Glowing did not bother to find a comfortable place and just hovered in the air. One sight of him made it clear that this is the most beautiful creature that you could see. Only the Hidden simply stood in the center motionless, paying no attention to anyone. In other respects, in this black silhouette with a halo over his head, it was generally difficult to make out.
Their eyes were fixed on the center of the island, which was completely empty. Not a tree, not a grass, not a grain of sand. Only smooth, polished stone.
The Hidden moved.
"It will start now."
"Finally, otherwise I've been waiting for so long." The Hatred responded.
After a couple of moments, a hemisphere with a rippled border appeared on a flat space in the center.
The first thing they saw was flashes of gigantic lightning cutting through the clouds, in which a fierce battle was in full swing. Another young boy in black trousers and a white cloak, with red horns on his head and tail, fought with a large white dragon. It was clear that the opponents, despite the difference in size, were in no way inferior to each other in strength. They attacked furiously, dodged and attacked again. No one seemed to be able to win. Suddenly, the white dragon opened its mouth and a red beam rushed towards the boy.
Natural gasped and covered her eyes with her hand. But this was not the end.
The boy seemed to be waiting for this moment. He dodged the beam, rolled over in the air and a sudden flash marked his transformation. No longer a boy, but a slender man with black horns and a glowing blue eye continued to fight. One wave of the hand and five magic swords pierced the dragon. Next, the man himself struck a blow that sent the dragon to the ground.
The sphere disappeared as suddenly as it appeared.
"He’s really good." The Bred smiled contentedly.
“I would like to see a sequel. It’s a pity that this island always shows snippets of different stories.” Glowing said.
"But he does not let us get bored!" Hatred said with satisfaction.
“Perhaps this time will be different and we can see the continuation of this story,” the Hidden suddenly interjected.
All eyes turned to him, but he did not add anything else.
"See you soon, I hope" said the Bred and disappeared. The others followed him. The wind again began its lingering song over the desert island.
